COVID19 Safety Plan

In addition to ensuring compliance with the current federal, state and local legislation, the following issues have been considered to ensure best practice at Freedom Studio for the health and well-being of our staff and students

Physical Distancing

  • Equipment (poles) are spaced 2m apart and we are limiting class numbers to comply with 4 squared metres ruling.

  • Even though we can accept 12 patrons, we are limiting class to 8 including the instructor.

  • A poster is displayed in the studio entrance to remind members to practise physical distancing

  • Class attendance is by booking only 

  • Unfortunately mum & bub friendly classes are unable to resume right now. Please don’t bring your children to class.

  • Students are to maintain physical distancing prior to and after class and have been asked to not loiter

  • Online classes will still be available for those unable to attend the studio


Hygiene

  • Hand sanitiser is provided at the studio for you to use when you enter

  • Hand washing facilities are provided with soap and hand towels

  • Hand washing signage is displayed in the bathroom

  • Please bring your own cloth to wipe down your pole during class (methylated spirits provided)

  • No equipment is shared during class

  • No student will change poles during the class

  • If you are feeling unwell please refrain from

  • coming to the studio

  • Cleaning will be completed after every class

  • Students have plenty of space to wait outside in the fresh air before class

Staff training and education

  • Instructors have all completed COVID Online Infection training and been briefed on studio procedures

  • Staff and students have all been advised on restrictions, policies and procedure and any new measures by social media and direct message.

Compliance

  • I am aware that in addition to the legal obligations arising from the Emergency Management Act 2005 and the Directions made under that Act, I must continue to comply with the relevant existing legislation and regulations, including WorkSafe legislation.

Response Planning

  • All classes are by prior booking and within set class times. 

  • Attendance will be recorded upon arrival to every class

  • Details are kept on record in the booking system including but not limited to their full name, email, mobile phone number. 

  • If we become aware that someone with a case of COVID-19 has been on our premises we will notify the state public health unit. 

  • We will regularly review our COVID-19 risk management controls and health and safety issues, in consultation with staff and asses and decide whether any changes or additional controls measures are required.
